The coalition of the coerced and the bribed expands

Thanks to Slings and Arrows for the link: "NATO officials agreed yesterday to send hundreds of military advisers to Iraq this year to train local security forces as part of a new task force that could eventually grow to 3,000 personnel. Trainers from France, Germany, and other nations that bitterly opposed the US-led invasion are expected to join the effort."

What are France and Germany thinking? Kerry hasn't been elected yet; they jumped the gun a little bit there. They were supposed to wait until after he took office, so they could make Bush look bad. Silly Europeans.
