Is the whole Hussein family nuts?

... 'cause Saddam refused to appear in court today after going on a tirade yesterday telling the judges to go to hell and now Saddam's nephew just got convicted...

A nephew of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has been sentenced to 15 years in jail by a Baghdad court for illegally crossing the Syrian border.

Ayman Sabawi, described as a supporter of the insurgency, was convicted on Monday, the US military says.

The sentence comes on top of a six-year term handed down in September, after Sabawi was found guilty of financing insurgents and making bombs.

He was convicted of crossing the Syrian border, and oh yeah... um... making bombs and ... uh, giving ...um... money to ...you know... terrorists and stuff.

Glad to see some of the fruits of the Iraqi militray's efforts to secure the Syrian border; cutting off supplies, smuggling, and such. Now how about that Iranian border?
