Babs throws a temper tantrum...

Apparently not all fans of Barbara Streisand are fans of her politics...

During her Madison Square Garden show last night Babs inserted a poltical skit in which a Bush impersonator came on stage and acted like a bumbling idiot.

Though most of the crowd offered polite applause during the slightly humorous routine, it went on a bit too long, especially for those who just wanted to hear Streisand sing.

"Come on, be polite!" the well-known liberal implored. But one heckler wouldn't let up. And finally, Streisand let him have it.

"Shut the (expletive) up!" Streisand bellowed, drawing wild applause. "Shut up if you can't take a joke!"

Apparently, that really shut the crowd up though...

Too bad they couldn't really let her have it like crowds have done to the Dixie Chicks and Linda Ronstadt...

And anytime Babs is in the news is always a good time to revist this classic Babs moment... check it out.
